Thank you and well done to all the runners who attended the Run Northumberland Wallington 10k 2019 on the 17th July and thank you to all the marshals and staff who help to make the event run as smoothly as possible.
106 runners lined up for the 19:30pm start of the Run Northumberland Wallington 10k. Stephen Jackson (Elvet Striders) finished the 10k in 34:30, followed by Patrick Donald who finished in 35:14. Simon Midwood (Wakefield District H & AC) finished in third place with a time of 35:35.
Katie Mellor (Gosforth Harriers & AC) finished as the fastest female with a time of 41:50. Elizabeth Oconnor (Gateshead Harriers & AC) followed with a time of 47:41. Fiona Nicholson (Ponteland Runners) completed the top three females with a time of 47:44.
