Thank you and well done to all the runners who attended the Run Durham Hatherley Half Marathon and 10k 2019 on the 21st July and thank you to all the marshals and staff who help to make the event run as smoothly as possible.
65 runners lined up for the start of the Half Marathon. Lee Dover (Houghton Harriers & AC) finished the 10k in 1:24:29, followed by Kim Brown (Ripon Runners) who finished in 1:27:03. Andrew Bell (Elswick Harriers) finished in third place with a time of 1:27:24.
Lorna Macdonald (Morpeth Harriers & AC) finished as the fastest female with a time of 1:46:47. Sarah Hamblin followed with a time of 1:49:26. Hayley Addison (Darlington Triathlon Club) completed the top three females with a time of 1:55:24.
113 runners lined up for the start of the 10k. Scott Boyd finished the 10k in 39:46, followed by Connor Scott who finished in 42:38. Stephen Hirst finished in third place with a time of 43:06.
Elizabeth Oconnor (Gateshead Harriers & AC) finished as the fastest female with a time of 48:43. Tracy Henderson (Sedgefield Harriers) followed with a time of 49:16. Donna Brogan completed the top three females with a time of 49:28.
