Calling anyone with unwanted running shoes......
In the last 6 months, the Run Nation founder Richard Hunter, has been setting up a running camp near Iten (Rift Valley in Kenya) and another camp is also being set up in Kapchorwa (Uganda).
He has been asked to bring running shoes for the school children to wear who train in the camps. Run Nation are also donating some clothing to provide to the up and coming athletes and school children (race t-shirts and running tops etc).
If anyone has spare/unwanted running shoes (including spikes!), RUN NATION events will have collection boxes for them at our races.
ANY DONATIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED - all sizes will be used when we return to Kenya again in July.
Please message us if you would like to help.
Collections can be made at the following locations:
Below are some photos of the kids we're helping and some younger ones who only have the basics for going to school - but can't afford to buy running shoes.
