Thank you and well done to all the runners who attended the Run Northumberland Kirkley 10k 2019 on the 26thJune and thank you to all the marshals and staff who help to make the event run as smoothly as possible.
119 runners lined up for the 19:30pm start of the Kirkley 10k. Andrew Hopwell (Gosforth Harriers) finished the 10k in 35:26, closely followed by Robert Morris (Ashington Hirst RC) who finished in 35:38. Benedict Moore (Gosforth Harriers) finished in third place with a time of 36:13.
Madeleine Wood finished as the fastest female with a time of 43:13. Leanne Harron (Blyth RC) closely followed in 44:22. Emily Lagadec completed the top three females with a time of 46:02.
