Casper Hojsgaard Jenson (DENMARK) competed in his first race of the day setting a new cource record of 15:47. Francis Cunningham finished second with 17:03 and Rich Kimmens of the East London Runners rounded out the front three with a time of 18:26.
Jessica Thorpe of the Thames Hare & Hounds finished as the fastest female with a time of 19:49, second Kristine Istergaard had a time of 21:53 and third Aoife Scott had a time of 22:11.
Casper Hojsgaard Jensen posted a new cource record time competing in the 10k at Run London Victoria Park, his time of 32:37 broke the previous record of 33:51 set by John Mcdonnell of the Luton Athletic Club in October 2018.
Casper's time been made even more impressive due to the course record time he set during the 5k earlier in the day. In second place Ben Toye had also set a strong time completing the 10k in 33:32 beating third place finisher Donald Castellucci's time of 35:23.
Rosamund Ponder of the West 4 Harriers was the fastest female runner setting a time of 37:44. Rosamund finished over a minute ahead of the next female, Jessica Anderson who set a time of 38:54. Third female finisher was Juliette Braithwaite of Fulham Running Club with a time of 39:16.
