Run Durham Dalton Park 5&10k held on 3th March 2019 welcomed 420 runners with sunny weather that day. The male winner of 5k race Jack Hustwitt (North York Moors & AC) has finished the run with a time of 17:47. Chris Callan (Elvet Striders) was a runner up achieving a time of 18:02. Third place went to Josh Pearson (unattached) who crossed the finish line just a few seconds later at 18:06. Laura Havis (Middlesbrough Athletic Club) won the female category with a time of 21:02. The second place female finisher prize was given to Sophie Mcphillips (unattached) who completed the course in 21:35. The third place went to Roselle Oberholzer (Blaydon Harriers & AC) who finished at 22:31.
Tom Farrell (unattached) was the fastest runner at 10k distance with a time of 32:02. The male runner up- Liam Taylor achieved time of 34:24. Daniel Alexander (Gateshead Harriers) came third with a time of 34:58. The fastest female award at 10k distance went to Alyson Dixon, 2016 Olympic marathon runner from Sunderland Strollers who won her category finishing at 35:41. Wendy Chapman (unattached) came second achieving a time of 41:17. The third place (42:51) went to Amy Callaghan (Sunderland Harriers & AC).
