We would like to say a Huge well done to all of you amazing runners who took part in our Run Northumberland Matfen 10K last Sunday. a combination of over 200 entrants and ideal weather conditions for running meant a fantastic day was had by all against the beautiful backdrop of the northumberland countryside.
The Course took runners on a scenic loop of the village of Matfen, However our participants were made to work for their medals with a relatively hilly second half of the race making for a tough finish. So once again a huge congratulations to all that finished, it is a huge achievement!!

This race had a massive 200 entries which is amazing!! this wouldnt have been possible without the large group entry of 36 runners from Muckle LLP. Well done guys for completing this tough 10K route and a special mention to Richi Stephenson who was the first finisher from Muckle and takes home the office bragging rights with a time of 44:14!!
We would like to say a massive thank you to our friends at Marlish Water who provided us with over 200 cans of water to hand out at the finish line ensuring that all of our runners remained safe and hydrated! Thank you and we look forward to working with you again in the future.
We would also like to once again say a huge thank you to all of our organisers and volunteers who's hard work and dedication made the event possible and ensures that every participant can experience the thrill of a race day in a safe and secure environment!!
